Inspired by the life of Francisco Padilla, a former street orphan, Marianco is a passionate non-profit organization dedicated to combating child trafficking, prostitution, and pornography. We provide comprehensive support to vulnerable children, including shelter, education, healthcare, and counseling. Our team of dedicated professionals works tirelessly to protect children, prevent exploitation, and empower survivors. By raising awareness, advocating for policy change, and building strong communities, we strive to create a world where every child is safe and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
The Global Crisis of Child Exploitation
Child trafficking, pedophilia, and related forms of exploitation remain some of the most pressing issues facing the world today. These violations strip millions of children of their rights, safety, and dignity, leaving long-lasting scars on their lives and communities.
According to UNICEF, nearly 1.2 million children are trafficked globally each year, forced into labor, prostitution, and other forms of abuse. Alarming figures from the International Labour Organization reveal that 1 in 4 victims of modern slavery is a child. Many are exploited in silence, their suffering hidden from public view and justice systems.
Pedophilia and child pornography also continue to rise, fueled by the dark web and insufficient protective mechanisms. For example, INTERPOL has reported a sharp increase in cases of online child exploitation, with offenders targeting younger and more vulnerable victims.
These numbers represent real children, each with a story of lost innocence and stolen futures. Marianco recognizes the urgency of addressing this crisis and is committed to disrupting these cycles of exploitation.
