Where the money goes
Marianco protects children from trafficking, exploitation and abuse. This shop pays for part of that work.
Printed after you order
Nothing is made before someone wants it, so we hold no stock and nothing is produced that ends up thrown away.
Production and postage come out first
We do not quote a figure per item, because print-on-demand margins move with the product, the currency and where it is going. Anyone who gives you a fixed number for this is guessing.
What remains funds the work
Prevention where children are most at risk, support for those already harmed, and the slow business of getting a case taken seriously by the people who can act on it.
What this is attached to
Three lines the world already agreed on.
Every state at the UN signed up to these targets in 2015, with a deadline of 2030. They are the clearest public statement of what this work is for, and they are worth reading in full rather than taking on trust.
End violence against women and girls
Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including trafficking and sexual and other types of exploitation.
End modern slavery and child labour
Take immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labour, end modern slavery and human trafficking and secure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labour, including recruitment and use of child soldiers.
End abuse and exploitation of children
End abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children.
